Second, it is a little hard to tell from your pic, but the missing number 1 could be from a grease-filled die. On the other hand, it may have been removed from damage after it left the mint. Either way, your cent has some numismatic value being a '34. As said by other members, this is a minor Struck Through Grease error (AKA Grease Filled Die). No added value since it's only a small amount of grease. The devices can etheir be weakly struck or can be completely missing depending on how much grease was in the die's crevices. Errers and Varietys. Report this Post to the Staff
