Hello,
My name is Kevin, I'm new here just looking for information. My girlfriend found a Buffalo nickel in her change box and was wondering if it was worth anything. There's no date on it, and it looks like it's been through some tough times. But you can tell that it's definitely a Buffalo nickel. I know absolutely nothing about coin collecting or the possible value in it. Can anyone help?

To CCF , a photo of the coin would be nice if possible . Or you can soak it in white vinegar and a little peroxide to bring up the date . Sometimes it can take about 24 hours .

Kevin, it's most likely that your coin is worth no more than 5 cents. Without the date, there is no way to tell is it's a rare coin or not.
