2001 LMC punch must have been done by a retired mint worker whose job was to punch the mint marks years ago. The counter punch had to be re-punched! I guess this could create a new listing, RPCP (re-punched counter punch)

Looks like a mason counterstamp. I found one of those last year. Post-strike damage.
