Actually know this one. Have some old English and Irish Silver and old Clad. Some Early Euro proof sets too. Will Post as I go through it. Father owned Pubs and collected through 50-90's. Most of it well circulated. Anything of note or in need of assistance I'll post here. Thanks.

I just posted in your other topic. It appears to be a 1906 gold Sovereign. That's quite nice, if so.

I can't make out the mintmark but it appears to be an S best I can tell.
That would be for Sydney Australia.
I had a type set of 4 of these and at the time I expected they would fetch between $250.00 each and $300.00. They were about the size of a US quarter if I recall correctly.
That's what they got. They were in better condition than yours but they should have gotten a bit more as one was probably BU.

I did find a place where the mintages were. Can't find it now. Look closely at your mintmark.
