While I did not have the crazy find of 88 rpms in a roll set like Uruman did today, I am working through a 7 roll set of 1959-D coins looking for the elusive DDO-001. Along the way I have found four varieties that I have worked out and a number of split serif rpms that I am leaving in there for the next searcher as I only have so much time to work such things out.

With two rolls still to go, so far I have one coin that is a new DDO that will need submitted, one WRPM-053, three WRPM-017, and 11 of another RPM. So here are a lot of photos of the one I already have nearly a dozen of, and a big wish for good luck. The first person who sends me a PM with the correct attribution for this RPM (use the Wexler catalog so I don't have to try and figure out cross references) wins the exact coin in the photos for free and I'll even cover the mailing cost. Two things: 1) you do not need to determine die stage, just get the correct WRPM number and 2) you have to have at least 250 posts on CCF to qualify to meet the buy/sell/trade board guidelines to receive the coin and anyone meeting that criteria is eligible. Only 144 1959-D WRPM listing to look at so how hard could it be?

It is not WRPM-061. No correct guesses yet.

I thinks someone at the mint knew they were just going to give us all fits someday and repunched half the coins as a cruel joke. Yes, they are tough and that's why I leave so many of them in the rolls. I do a couple to add varieties to my collection and stay sharp but just don't have time to figure them all out. This one is definitely tricky.

Time for a hint: It is on the first page (WRPM-001 to WRPM-075) of the online Wexler catalog so that will knock off 70 of the possibilities...

Don't know where your message went, but that is... A WINNER! The coin is WRPM-068 in Stage-B. The stage A markers are still there but so light that I had to light them horizontally to get them to show up in a photo. But you can still see a bit of the die scraches southeast of the S in PLURIBUS and the die dot below the N of ONE.

This photo would have given away what to look for, but here are the weak stage A die markers:
