Greetings! How are you? I'm fine, thank you. I collect Sacagewea's and have found a few that, I have to ask about.
I got a 75$ roll from the bank today and it had all sorts of things other then Sacagewea's but, I found about 10 , 2000 p ones. And of the 2000 p ones there is CLEARLY ALOT of difference. I did a little research, and cannot find any references to what the one I found could be. Its literally, all dark brown, what most of us here would call a 'red' or almost a 'red penny' like look to it. I know alot about 2000 p's , everything we can find here on the internet, but never saw anything like this.

anyone ever see anything like this?

Look like environmental toning to me. The surface reacts to chemicals in circulation to get that color. Fairly common unfortunately.

I hear you but, I dont think thats it. The 'toning' is complete, whole, on both sides, not splotchy.
its almost like a 'red' penny version of the Sacagawea dollar.

Looks like the coin has environmental toning to me. The toning in the fields remains, but the toning on the edge and stars has worn away.
Rest in Peace

Simple toning. Nothing special. But if you like it keep it.

Not a Goodacre coin or Experimental Rinse example. Just circulation toning.

Thanks for the input guys, and as for wounded eagles or cheerios, thats what I was looking for. Out of the 75$ the bank sold me , it was full of presidentials and susan B's. doesn't look like any, but I tried!
Thanks again for the input!
