Oy vey. Just stick a fork in my eye. No, really.

Better hurry and snatch this masterpiece: 1969 s double die Lincoln Penny

And it is such a bargain at $200. Just ponder the description:

"1969 S Lincoln proof Cent -double die-(Proof)
Strong doubling- Rare!
Never been cleaned"

Of course, it's an EF/AU 1969-S circulation strike with obvious Machine Doubling and obvious fingerprints, featured in a blurry pic, while being held in the seller's open hand.

It's deep in P.T. Barnum territory.

I'll go pound my head against the wall now.

There is a thread for stuff like this "worst coins on ebay". Unfortunately it is far from the worst of its kind.
Rest in Peace

It seems they may be confusing a slightly MAD coin with a DD.

Mark1959, I loved the window-jumping!

This seller has all kinds of nonsense listings, and people are actually buying some of the coins. Ugh! At least nobody bought this one.

When I saw the listing, it reminded me of a bunch of posts about 1969-S cents on this thread over the last few weeks. After cringing, I couldn't help but post it.

The pic was so blurry, it was hard to tell what was going on. It could be MAD or could be MD. Or it could be just a blurry pic of a random '69-S. But it definitely was nothing beyond a junk box special.
