A new seller with a two-feedback rating on ebay has listed an uncirculated 1875-S Trade dollar, but apparently not all is what it seems. The title of the auction is "High Grade Silver 1876 S Trade dollar ICG Graded MS 62," but the coin images depict an MS-62 1876-S in a PCGS holder. The seller also includes a disclaimer that: "The coin(s) in the pictures is(are) NOT the exact coin(s) you will receive. You will receive a coin that is in better condition guaranteed. Coin(s) may be scratched, cleaned, polished or damaged." Something tells me that the winning bidder is not going to like what he receives... 273147806247 |

unfortunately, so few people actually read the lots, even for higher value coins.

Seller couldn't find an ICG photo of the coin s/he is selling and the PCGS photo is(are) NOT the exact coin(s) you will receive. New sellers sometimes struggle with their first (only) listings on ebay. I would run far and and fast from this one. |

After removing the original listing, the seller relisted this fraudulent auction and someone just got taken to the tune of $720.  273150710847 |
