I see an rpm ( maybe small) but it has the both serif split a good separation (to me), and a DDR on the reverse

RPM, no. That is not a lower serif separation, it IS the serif. Upper looks like a nick(hit). Now reverse has potential. The oblong dot may be, but there just doesn't seem enough thickness on the lower portions. It could be typical die flow stretching, not sure?...Coop?

Crazyb0, this is a genuine DDR, If it was from the die stretching from being in a Late Die State or Very Late Die State, then it would be all worn and mushy on the devices with tons of die flow lines. See Coop's thread for die states on Wheat Cents. http://goccf.com/t/196364

I think the reverse has a better chance for a a variety. But keep in mind the mind mark location will help you to match it to a DDR.

It is a DDR. Tried Coop's cross hatch over mine, makes it quite exact once the horizontal planes are matched.
