I wouldn't expect any edge lettering until at least 2007, allowing for error-edges from the Presidential dollars, then as a regular feature starting in 2009. Report this Post to the Staff

At the same time Presidential dollars were being minted with the date, mint mark and mottos incuse on the edge. Somehow a 2007 Sacagawea dollar received edge lettering intended for Presidential dollars. Edge lettering was not used on the Sacagawea dollar (a.k.a.
