I enjoy setting up my albums with 2" x 2" and 2.5" x 2.5" for my raw coins and 9 pocket pages for my TPG and arranging them together by date. It's more interesting to me to see coins that were issued together rather than one denomination or type.

as above said, put them into 2x2's and then into 20 pocket pages and in a binder so you can stare at them all day long :)

I put them in 2x2 like said above and then into album pages. I sequence them chronologically and have a separate album for sixpence/shilling/florin/other.
I chuck the whole lot in the safe and try not to think about how many thousand bucks I just spent.

I think I like CoinOS style the best since there is a limited range to Australian coinage. Probably get anthor folder for the foriegn coins.

I haven't done this yet but planning to.
With today's inexpensive printing charges. I am going to take pictures of my coins and make an album. A nice high quality one. So if I ever want to show someone or have a look for myself, all I have to do is pick up a book. The hardware goes in the bank vault.

What dont understand is I find album with all these perdemcial coins and then they will put all these rubbish coins with them ... I dont mean fakes, I mean like 20 cent pieces or like 50 cent pieces, its bloody annoying in my eyes I mean yea sure these values my change, but come at least find good examples of aus 50 or 20 cent coins. I mean I feel it just cheapens the look of their great collection even if they arent worth much.

I'm in a similar situation. I've got an album with my best examples of Australian decimal - organised by denomination, then year. Since I've (by default) become a pre-decimal collector of AU, NZ and UK, I'll be organising these in the same manner in separate albums. Speaking for myself, I'm going to try auctioning off bulk lots (by denomination) - probably the $2 and $1 will do best as it seems to be easier to collect the lot of those. I read somewhere (can't remember whether it was here or on another Forum, as I'd just returned home from the Pub at the time) to try starting the collection at face-value and seeing what happens. I'd be inclined to add ebay's commission and postage, though. Then hopefully I'll be able to spend a modest bit of dosh. On a 1935 NZ threepence to begin with. If that works out... work my way towards the 1935 NZ Crown.

I cashed in all a lot a little while ago - didn't seem worth hanging on to almost uncirculated commemoratives.

I agree with Mr T I don't think anything apart from a few rare odd Perth Mint bullion coins e.g. Swan 1oz silver coin has retained any value going into the future Proof coins are a different story The odd proof coin is worth it Cheers
