Hey Guys, When I posted this previously, someone mentioned that the gash under the last nine was a Cud. Was that a correct observation?

Nope. Pushed up damage, wouldn't be a Cud anyway. Heard an appropriate statement yesterday, "People that know, don't say and people that don't know, say"...

Probably the opposite side is pushed outwards? A curved sharp like punch was used on that area. It was not real wide as you can see the thickness of it on the rim area.

not a Cud. a Cud involves the rim of the coin - from a piece of the die breaking off/away

What would a die that had the issue of part of the die look like?
