Hey Guys, Is this some kind of error or just a grease strike with the word liberty? Is it an RPM?

Well the letters are put onto the die by the hub. So they are not forgotten letters. If the die has grease on that area, the letters maybe weak or missing because of this issue. If the coin was used in a vending machine, they maybe altered or removed by damage. So after all is said and done, the coin is usually worth face value however what happened to it. Something I've learned a long time ago, is what is on the coin is usually worth more value. But I collect variety coins. More of a specialist.
