These clips are more jagged than the rest I've looked at and there is lam or struck through on both sides. It looks like there might be a third clip above the G in GOD. What do y'all think?! Oh and look at the EPU, I think it's a minor DDR also! I really like this one!

Could it be a planchette defect? I had that thought as well.

The only thing that looks correct on it is the ends of the clipped areas. The rest looks a bit a bit wrong. The clips are not in the correct locations to be normal. But as mentioned the blakesley affect is not there. The clipped area is ragged. A straight planchet might look like that. The flattened devices concern me. (they look like they might be from something holding the coin) The left wheat grains area looks more flattened than fading. So The jury for me is still out yet. What seem weird to me is that the obverse is showing a rim in the center of the clipped area, where the reverse does not show that rim area. So it looks more to like an altered coin as John1 mentioned. (If the reverse showed this then it would be from the strike, but without it, what could have formed that rim area?)
Anyone else having trouble with the site? It takes forever to reload.

I'm looking closer and can see a couple what look like squeeze marks on the rim. Thanks guys. I'm going PMD.

Keep it for now. Just mark it as questionable.

Thanks coop. I'm not sure on it now. I did save it. The marks I saw could just be a couple hits it took. The seller was very reputable.

It looks like a ragged clip to me. The edges of the rim are tapered and the devices nearest to the clip display strike weakness.

What if it's a combination of planchette error and clipping? Would explain why the edge is so ragged.

I agree on it being Post Mint Damage. It looks like someone held it with something and snipped off the edges with bush shears. Someone did a great job faking it though.
