I'm pretty sure it's md but wanted opinions. It's so dramatic and not typical in appearance.

I'd keep it, even though I can't tell how this would have occurred during minting. That MM is trying to be the Flash off of the coin

It is called slide/push movement on error-ref.com It is MD that drags the metal or pushes it doubling

correct. Push doubling. You can see the metal striation lines under the mint mark. (Can't find Mike Diamonds' site?)
