Every one I've looked at isn't exactly like this one and I was curious if anyone could tell me what it is, it's age and value? Or a link where I can educate myself on what I have?
Thanks in advance!

to CCF. Could it be one of those medals you got free with a full tank of gas?

Not at all,why would you think that? I think it was the Shell gas stations that gave a free token/medal with a full tank gas purchase, along with a folder to put them in. Check the bay.

No, John1 is being serious. There have been promotions for gas station chains were presidential tokens were given to customers. Shell and Sunoco both did it.

But the gas station tokens I've seen included the name of the company, so your token doesn't match.

But your token looks recent and not contemporary to Abe's reelection.

Hi, I found one here. 322917987543

I have been looking for other presidential medals with the same design. A nickname and a border in the field. They all run cheap, but so far no maker. They appear to run at least to Taft as I look. "The Great Jurist"

I had a board game called "Meet the Presidents" as a kid that had the same info type reverse back in the 60's.
Could be one from that set, and I think the medals remained pretty much the same with minor modifications.
I do think it could be a game piece or a rather inexpensive "Shell" premium as they probably put out very similar medals.

Not 1864 election. The civil war was still raging.

It's one of some set of presidential medals, of which there are 100s and 1000s of sets.
