Really close, but some form of PMD or deterioration. Note these differences:

And the angle of the dandle is slightly differeny.

From far away it looks like a doubled ear but when I zoom in it looks like it might be a hair or fiber on the coin.

I got a email from Mike Diamond. He said it's very interesting, but he's not the right person to contact about Doubled Dies. I would have to contact John Wexler since he's a Die Variety specialist.

Errers and Varietys, if it isn't too much trouble, could you contact him for me? I imagine he would want it in his hands to be able to tell a whole lot though, right?

Crazyb0, is it possible that the earlobe part is very weak from grease or some other issue?
