2010-D-Lincoln-Shield-Penny-From-Mint-Uncirculated-Just-Opened-Error?

I just opened a roll of pennies I purchased from the mint. They all have varying degrees of this error? on Lincoln's hair and bottom of coin. The same appears on reverse bottom of shield. Is this normal?

I didn't think you could purchase rolls of cents directly from the mint.

Or are you talking an OBW?

Looks a lot like PMD to me.

I'm sure he is talking about a BU OBW roll. The mint just puts the coins into a pallet bin now. Sends them off to a rolling location. So the mint doesn't roll coins. They used to bag then until 2001. Now sent to a rolling location.

I purchased these in 2010. Pretty sure I ordered from the mint website. Anyway, can anyone opine on the penny? Is it an error? What is it? etc.... I started collecting in 2010 then stopped and am just now getting back into the collection. Thank you!

To me the lines are rolling lines. The plating looks thin on this area. Not sure what caused it. Even something on the coin can dull the plating. Not a plus for the coin.
