Yes, another "cleaned" question.

When a coin looks very dull, that is "cleaned" often but this one looks very mirror like.

IMHO these photos don't provide enough evidence that this coin has been cleaned .

OK, here are two more pics. Different coin. I like it. But is it cleaned?

OK, sorry, 3rd set of pictures, different coin.

Any comments appreciated. I like this coin as well. Note the wear on her thigh though, it's kind of chewed up.

I'd actually say it looks pretty original. Nice coin!

[EDIT] Totally didn't get that these were 3 different coins. Second and third look fine. First is difficult to tell.

First coin is too dark to tell. Sometimes a mirror finish can indicate a polished coin. The second and third coins look okay, with no obvious cleaning.

1) 43, does not appear cleaned but could have light scratches in the field.
2) 45 does not appear cleaned
3) 45 pass on coin find one that is not chewed up.

Photos do not always give you information that a coin has or has not been cleaned. Often you will need to see the coin in hand to make the final judgement on cleaning.

The coin posted below has been cleaned note the hairlines in the field:

Same coin different lighting and slight change in camera angle. Note the hairlines from cleaning are gone.

Sound advice throughout. These common date walkers are easy to find in EF-AU for very reasonable prices. They are one of the toughest types to determine cleaning from photos.

A LCS or show would have a LOT of them, I'm sure, that you could view in hand.
