New Hampshire medals were first struck in 1870. Engraved by William H.Key also of Philly. 246 pieces struck in copper/bronze.

Very nice. And a blank one at that!. It's very possible that the blank one might have a slight premium over a completed piece, however it does lake some additional searchable history of the original owner

You could always take it to an engraver and have them put your great-great-great grandfathers name on it and who it too all your friends
