I know its hard with pics, my pics especially. Just wondering what you think it would be graded. By reading the grading part of the forum my "educated" LOL opinion would be AU 50?

With the amount of wear on the band of the crown, I would agree with VF-20

And I think my problem is not comparing side by side with a mint one, once I did that to see where I went wrong, it was painfully obvious!!

The jewels on the crown are the first point of reference. If they are some what worn and yours are more then somewhat, it can not be AU. AU for me is MS looking with very minor wear. Here is the definition on Coins and Canada website for AU.
Sharp legends and illustrations show only a trace of wear on the highest points. There must be some remaining mint luster.
