Same comments that I made with the Philip 11 Macedon gold stater.

Before I was to buy it, I would
1. Have it XRF tested, looking for trace elements, not gold
2. present an independently proven provenance,
3. get an opinion on authenticity from a professional, who specializes in auctioning ancient coins.
