I found another one cent piece in the collection.... What are your thoughts on grade/condition of this one? Any info is appreciated - thanks.

Beautiful surfaces, color and even wear. Xf40 and premium for the grade. Nice coin and thanks for sharing.

Technical Grade 35. Eye Appeal 7/10.

Nice color. Reverse needs a pure acetone short bath but it doesn't appear to be corroded, just dark in tight spaces.

I like the clean cheek and surfaces. I too grade it VF-35 but it has good detail for that grade.

I don't mean to go in a different direction with the thread but it's relevant as it was mentioned as a solution for this particular coin. I've heard various issues regarding acetone on copper coins. One said not to do it, another said it's ok, and yet another said it's ok but only if done in the dark as the light makes the acetone react with the copper. Is there's a consensus opinion out there?

Never had trouble with PURE CLEAN acetone on coppers. Problems arise when you try to use the same acetone used before. Residue is in the solution from the first soak, is VERY problematic if silver was first used!

I can't argue with 35. Remarkably free of abrasions for the grade. Nice coin!
