WAM normal for this year, doubling is a plating issue, no variety here.Just a typical look for a typical Zincoln.

They all were on the memorial cents until 1993. That year all were close AMs even the proof cent.

So according to what you are saying that it's a plating issue...then in theory and hypothetically speaking, shouldn't all types of error and variety coins be deemed as plating issues and nothing typical about any coins that may have a mistake? Therefore all should be worthless and face value?

No, because true error or variety coins are not caused by a plating issue, as yours is.

It is called split plating. Copper plating splits during a strong strike so that is not considered error or a variety! No extra value for the coin. It is a spendable coin before it is evaporated
