Slymer Valued Member United States 120 Posts	Posted 04/24/2018 10:49 pm So according to what you are saying that it's a plating issue...then in theory and hypothetically speaking, shouldn't all types of error and variety coins be deemed as plating issues and nothing typical about any coins that may have a mistake? Copper plating splits during a strong strike so that is not considered error or a variety! No extra value for the coin.
