I don't think there are any errors. It looks the coin was sanded or ground down and that it why the high points are flattened. Just damage, unfortunately.

Ok thanks. I'm new to collecting coins and I'm trying learn as much as I can. I thought the same thing as you did when I saw it. But you never know when the goldmine could be in your pocket.
