acloco Pillar of the Community United States 3540 Posts	Posted 04/25/2018 11:48 pm Ooooph! TOUGH coin to grade. This Buff is an example of the epic issue of grading Buffalo nickels. Soft strike or AU? SUPERB fields. LOVE the die clash that is noticeable on the obverse (under chin and between neck & feathers). After several views at 250% of normal screen size, I am going with AU58. My only reason - the top of the hip is ever so slightly flat. Could EASILY be MS64 or 65. Anybody else?
