Picked this up for $89.
This appears to be the Sheldon 292 1A die pairing. It can be identified by the 3 in the date which is far away from star 13. This is known as the Distant Star variety. The only other die pairing, Sheldon 293 2B, has star 13 cut much closer to the 3 in the date and is known as the Close Star variety.
All Classic Head Large cents are scarce, but this year had a lower mintage of 418,000. A nice coin minted in the middle of the War of 1812.
Loved the color and quality of the surfaces that can be dismal in many cases. Thoughts on grade and problems? Thanks!
