I can see the M/M is clogged, top and bottom, but is that another S on top of the original S?

a possible RPM for that date and MM. Lets wait for coppercoins or foundinrolls to make their assumption.

Here are two Different 1968's -I have them in my Whitman folders

Coin one looks almost the same as my original post, but coin 2 is different- looks more normal.

Maybe I have 2 possible rpm's?

The S Mintmarks on cents dated 1968 pretty much all look like that. The punch was pretty worn. It does not appear to be an RPM (Repunched Mintmark)

If you check on other denominations for that year you will probably see the exact same punch used on them as well until they replaced the damaged punch. One sure thing is to check an OBW roll. You will see them usually on all coins there and they were from different dies because of the damaged punch. I thought I had something unique until I realized that all of them had the same distorted mint mark punch.
