Hi All, I'm the new old guy without a cool camera (yet) to take pics of my coins. The attached are of a 2007P Quarter. It has no copper showing on the rim. The pics are rotated for "clarity". Is this type of coin worth more than .25? Thank you! Have a great day!

to CCF. Looks like a plated coin. Maybe plated in silver or platinum. No added value. It did not leave the US mint like that so not an error/variety.

Well there is a weight difference for the clad and the silver coins: (but the plating will also add a bit of weight)

If they are the same weight as clad, then you might check the reeds to see if it is plated over the copper edge.

Also there is the tissue test to see if it matches a silver coin:

If it is not white in color, it maybe plated with something. Compare it with a know silver coin to see if the color is the same or not. You can even do this in an album without taking them out. Just lay a single layer of facial tissue over the coins to see what color shows through.

Doesn't look plated at all. Also doesn't look like silver. Keep it til you can find out more about it. If your plan is to spend it, file a bit off and see what's inside.
