I found two 1893 Morgan dollars NGC MS64 listed on ebay by two different sellers. They are both showing the exact same coin and both are in China. Listing #'s 380038169242, 280237576826.
Me thinks somethings rotten in China

After further investigation I see both of these sellers have taken these pictures from greatsoutherncoin listing # 270244588660.
So they are fraudulent listings.

you are right, if it's a US coin on ebay from China, it is a SCAM till proven otherwise, and I am not inclined to spend the time and expense to take a chance

I never even consider China based sellers. They are the kings of counterfeit coinage. Beware !

It makes it harder when their using NGC certified coins for their scams though.I emailed greatsoutherncoin and let him know also.He reported them but their still listed.

ebay pulled one of the auctions but the other is still running. I can only imagine what the winning bidder will receive since the real coin has already sold.

Scott,
Glad to hear you contacted ebay also. The only way to stop these sellers from doing this is bombard ebay with reports.
I know Great Southern Coin reported thses also as he had the real coin, and yet ebay has not seen fit to end the second scammers listing.

The saga continues. Now the China seller "paypal918" is using seller "vette1986" pictures to sell coins. The only coins this seller has listed are either someones else's pictures or coins in slabs that look to be fakes 1892-CC,1894-CC coins.

I keep reporting but not much is happening.
Rest in Peace

man its up to 840 dollars.so the seller that is selling the fake what are they going to do send a coin that looks to be in ms64 grade in an ngc coin holder but it is going to be a fake coin. I hope nobody from the u.s. buys this coin then if the buyer wants to sell the coin and he doesn't know its a fake man its one big cycle.

Good News!
China seller "paypal918" no longer a registered user. ebay pulled the 1893 NGC ms64 Morgan just minutes before it sold. He still managed to get to some buyers before he was booted. They had over 320 items listed one minute and then all gone the next.

Just wonder what their new name will be when they come back. Have to keep searching I guess.
