Sequential-2009-Series-100-Dollar-Bills

I pulled money out of the bank recently and was handed these guys. They seem like they are in really good shape, one corner looks a little bent on the last bill. Is there anything about them that makes them worth more than face value? Thanks for looking, and it's cool to see all of the rare currency posted on this forum. I honestly feel a little lame even asking about my bills.

I don't see any of these bill being worth more than face value. The serial numbers are not considered "fancy" such as radar, ladder, binary, low, etc.

Far fewer people save consecutive hundred dollar bills due to the sheer face value.

Never feel lame or ashamed for asking about notes you encounter as that is how you learn.

rothira. While NOT lame in the slightest (nor is your question), these are spenders as mentioned above. Look on the bright side... at least you won't be tempted to tuck those away and let their purchasing power get eroded by inflation.

The only possible thing I can think of is maybe save two of the best consecutive, IF they're SUPER crisp and you can afford to sit on $200. But even that's a pretty big stretch. I just don't see any money to be made here.

Good luck and keep looking!

Face value makes them way too expensive to keep.
Inflation in the long term will beat you.
A 'no brainer' to keep, if they were $1 bills.

UNC hundreds of the newer series can sell for between 10% to 20% over face, I used to sell them regularly on ebay but encountered so many problems with people trying to commit fraud through the purchases that I gave up on it. It was way to work and aggravation for the small amount of money I was making doing it.

Must agree there is little upside potential here, especially for tying up eight hundred bucks.
