This one is quite the lowball. It weighs 5.4g($2.54 in silver today). I am thinking it would grade AG01. I paid $3.44 for it.

Figured I would share it! Any thoughts on grade and whatnot are always appreciated!

Wow! That is worn. A lot of history with all of that use.
I would agree with a AG01 grade.

Just to clarify your grade categories, AG is only 03.
-- Almost Good - AG-03
-- Fair - FR-02
-- Poor - PO-01

According to the "rules", does it qualify as gradable if there is no date, eventhough the date can be logic'd out like here?

I think the coin can be graded because the diagnostics of a 1917 SLQ are visable.

Regardless, the damage makes the coin worth only it's silver value.
