1970 S LMC Question About The Letter Y In Liberty. MD?

I have this 1970 S LMC and it has what appears to be an extra bar running down the bottom half of the letter L. I swear I have seen this as an error on a different year but cannot remember where I had seen it at. Maybe looking at too many cents has gotten the best of me. This extra bar is raised and not incused and it has not taken a hit. Insight please.

I think you mean the letter "Y". Possibly a die chip here, or even a stray PMD hit that these pics are too small to reveal.
