Hi,
here is a 1830 Large Cent graded by NCS as AU details, improperly cleaned and N-1 variety.
Is this a die break at star 2 (from the left side)? Do not know much about these breaks...

Looks to be the result of a die crack. A die break would result in a raised AREA and not just a line, like in your specimen. Nice find - not sure of the rarity of die cracks on this mintage so I couldn't tell you how valuable it is, but it's neat that it runs from rim to rim. Makes you wonder how close that piece was to breaking off!

A die crack - pretty common on earlier US coinage.

It is a die crack as has been mentioned, and it is a N-1, but it is interesting because even in a late die state the inner circle on the obverse should be clearly visible. It seems to be completely or almost completely gone on your coin.
