Was roll hunting and found this 1992 penny. I think it's a DDR on the steps there is doubling by the FG.is this DDR?

That is Machine Doubling. How can we tell? It is flat, shelf like, a step lower and it reduces that edge of the design. On the doubled die reverses, the steps show notching, not reduced areas.

Machine Doubling is created after a normal strike and the die swings/bounces/moves damaging the devices. On real hub doubling you see the spread in the center (one the example above) in the center of the devices. Not on the outside edge, that MD affects the coins with. Hope this helps.

To CCF! That's called Machine Doubling, not a Doubled Die Reverse. The devices are reduced in size and is shelflike in appearance. This is very common and doesn't carry any value over face value.
