Can you describe what exactly it is your seeing and where at. And a full pic of both sides will help a lot with people being able to give you their opinions. I don't see anything besides the off center strike you mentioned. A Cud would affect he area on the edge of the coin

Are you talking about the area that kind of looks like feathers now that I've taken another look? If they are recessed it's from being smashed against another coin. If they are raised it could possibly be a die clash

It seems to look damaged. Better pictures would be great.

Back to the original question. Cud? Nope. Those are on the edges of the die. I see no edges of the die so far. Most mistakenly call a die chip a Cud, but they are not. I see an image of Johns' head. That looks like damage. PSD (Post-Strike-Damage) is all I see so far.
