1968S LMC on the observe, edge metal rolled up and Lincoln's chin was broken, some letters of motto on the top merged into edge, but it's not such deep as 1968D LMC I had posted before(04/16/2018). On the reserve the memorial steps was damaged and weired letters of motto.

Error and Variety mentioned together (as one) has sparked many pages of discussions in the past. I'll try and get in and out as soon as possible.

My take on it is a missing dot, do to a grease or debris filled device is a minor error. Note: not variety. It could strike like that on one coin or many coins, but does not show on the die before or after the obstruction is cleared.

If all of EPU was missing, then minor interest rises up a bit. If the majority of devices were filled then we hit the major interest to error collectors.

To me they're all fun or interesting finds, but everyone has there own take on the matter. Thanks, Doug.

First coin looks like a parking lot find.

Second coin it a normal cent from that year. The devices were like that on all of them.
