Excellent strike and details! The cape and leg fur is all there so is the hair and feather is almost all filled in right. date looks funky but may be pix shadow, but that looks like a nicer one than some of your other choices. Like it, a lot. Bet its upwards of 66 or 67 straight grade, right?

I agree with the funkiness of the date. I'm saying MS64-65 due to that . Nice coin though :)

I can only see one small ding near the buffalo's 'ole fella.
MS65.
One of best buffalos I have seen.

I think high grade Buffalos may be scarcer for grade than other denominations of their era, perhaps because they saw more circulation.
What are the population stats. for the 1914 MS65 Buffalo?
How do they compare with the pop stats for the other denominations in that grade?

? Why do Buffalos tone so darkly?

Have often said that my learning curve is still steep.

I haven't gotten it yet. Bought but not yet received. I think the date being harder to see kind of knocks it down a good bit, that's a hint.

Very nice. Different lighting for the picture would have helped this coin.

Will be interesting when you have in hand.

The fact the date may be a little harder to see, (as previously said, could be lighting), may have a very minor downward effect on the value, but should not affect the grade.
What is important is that it is not scuffed on the high point of that area, the picture does not reveal that.

I'm in the MS64/65 range. If it's lower, you got a steal. That is a sweet coin!
