I have compared this coin with other images and I suspect itīs a counterfeited one, but differences are so subtle that can be attributed to quality of images. No rim pics unfortunately. What do you think?

It does have the look of a fake. Grainy surfaces and weird color and rims.

It looks like an obvious fake to me. Mushy designs, field is not smooth-it looks cast.

Thank you Plopy and oriole. 1883 number seems a bit different than the original coin, but difference is very subtle too (eights are more rounded on this coin)

The rim and denticle's at 12 o'clock obverse and under neck initials give it away as a bad cast fakeadoodoo!
