Clogged 9 and BIE are not errors but varieties. PGS is a basement slabber.Nowhere near MS69 and no do not have it graded.

I think the reason why they didn't note these errors is because of how common and notorious Die Chips were on the Wheat Cents from the 1950's. It was very common as the U.S. Mint would use the dies way beyond normal retirement. That's why a ton of them had very heavy die wear and all of that. They would overuse the dies in order to save some money. I don't think it's worth getting this regraded again, since this is a very common error with only a small premium (2 to 3 dollars at the most). You would end up spending way more on the grading than what the coin is actually worth.

They don't grade for those. It just something people notice about the coin. They don't acknowledge Machine Doubling or split plating either. Die events are graded. Errors like Cuds and other one of a kind errors they do put on the slab. Just not die event stuff.

to the CCF!

First of all, the only coin grading companies that can be trusted by a new collector are PCGS and NGC. ANACS and ICG are okay, but their grading is inconsistent and they are best avoided by new collectors.
PGS grading is bogus and is a basement slab. The real grade of the coin is about MS-63. Not even close to 69.

Now, about the minor die defects. Yes, they are defects from the mint on the die, but are not usually that important. Just something people notice about the coin, as Coop said.

No, do not have this coin re-certified. It will only grade MS-63 or 64 by a reputable company, and is not worth the cost of having it certified by PCGS or NGC.

PGS? What is it a couple guys slabbing coins in their free time? I was gonna say if that is a 69 then this 68 Kennedy I have should be at least a 75(I know 70 is the highest). Sorry, not trying to poke fun but if that thing was a 69 it would be worth some serious coin. It still is a nice looking and cool coin nonetheless.
