My grandfather is 82 and won't live for much longer so he is giving stuff away.

This is his dog tag from WW2 and my Great Grandfathers dog tags from WW1.

Douglas Cooper is where I got my name from so it will Always be the pinnacle of my collection as the greatest piece of history I own

What a great memory to have!
I have no idea what happened to my dad's tags, but I kept patches from his uniforms.

I don't have my Dad's dog tags, I do have the rank insignia that he wore on his hat. He was a Navy pilot & flew P3 Orions, which gathered intelligence. When he passed I came across his flight logs, unfortunately my Mom has since misplaced them. I'm pretty sure they had references to aerial surveillance of Cuba during the Bay of Pigs.
