What do you think?

MS is about $130. MS63 about $300, MS65 about $800 according to one retail price guide. What do you think it's worth?
Rest in Peace

I don't like the shafing under Indians chin and rough fields obverse right side . Weak strike on reverse . You call it !

Looks to me to be in the 45-55 range. Not an expert, just offering my opinion.

Au58 or ms64. Hard to tell if rubbed.

Appears to have field rub on reverse, but no indication of same on high points. Technical Grade 63. Eye Appeal 6/10. Soft strike drops the EA 1 point.

Ding at the 6 o'clock position on obverse rim, coupled with two black spots....leaves me at AU58.

It was an MS63. Priced a little low for that grade, maybe due to flaws.

Realistically, AU50 or XF45s...I've seen many where you can barely make out the tip of the horn or the "liberty". So this is much better. Not sure about the shallow strike on the reverse, the pelt looks good, the indents at the hip look somewhat shallow though.

I would have guessed MS63, so I agree with that. Just looks like a weak strike, no wear. The area under the chin is completely normal. Common occurrence on Buffalos (it's a clash).

I've seen weak strikes on Buffalo nickels where it's graded MS63 or higher and you can't make out the braids above the band and the "liberty" is faded. The braid is just a big mash. I don't think this strike is really weak. Maybe not as strong as others. The hip indents aren't deep. The braid on top of the head isn't very well defined.

I bet a fiver that this Buff was "conserved" prior to slabbing.

Personally, this coin is definitely a pass at MS63 because of the rim ding and the black spots on the obverse at 9 through 11:30.
