Hi!Need some help with this coin-letter'V' in 'Georgivs'looks like normal`u`.is this coin a fake or mint error?good weight-9.32 grams and aprox.27-29mm diameter(slightly oval flan).many thanks!

Would you please post a picture of both the Obverse and Reverse flat on a table. Don't even know what year that coin is. There are different style heads for different years. I can see something that doesn't look right but need better pictures to confirm. Thank You
PS- You can't go by the "U" as some years it was rounded.
No panic - Georgius with a "U" is correct for Halfpennies dated 1740 to 1745. Georgivs with a "V" is correct for 1729 to 1739 and also 1746 to 1754. Don't ask me why! and by the way, welcome to CCF.
