Almost every single column of the building has the die crack coming down like a water drop into a vast on both side of building. Please take a look at any picture I took by USB Scope and you will see how beautiful it is..

Boy, that die is really starting to lose it's integrity, won't be long before it blows apart! The weakened areas, those deepest incused areas, the columns, are chipping away. Haven't really seen that much happen that way before, not along the whole length of the Memorial. Nice one! Value, hardly any. Errors that are machine problems and common at that, are neat to find is about all. I save some like this as good examples of deterioration, die collapse.

Looks like a lava flow...

I have this same scope... one thing I don't like is I want a slightly longer extension on my arm... really hard to get a straight above shot of coin without cropping top and bottom edges. To get whole penny I have to shoot from an angle which does't always make for the clearest shot of the OBV/REV of the coin.

Other than that I like it... but still working on getting my light source toned down to avoid contrasting shadows and illuminating brights... with out taking them into photoshop. That's the goal anyways.
