I've been here for a bit but this just stumps me. I got this as change today and pics might not to it justice but this is 100% a proof. I've owned many sets and this looks like it's straight out of it. Tell me what you think, but the main issue is it's a Denver mint(no proofs made here).

Better pics needed, but I doubt it's a proof.

All the proofs of the Mounds were deep cameo and even from those pictures, that just looks like a very well struck coin. Can you take some pics of it just lying on a table?

Proof-Quarter-With-Wrong-Mint-Mark?
Here is a side by side of quarters. 1/2 business strike, bottom half proof. So you can see the differences. Most of the older proof coins were not like that years ago, but the frosting/cameo used to be on the early proof dies only. But now they are pretty much on all of them now. (which I don't enjoy) The frosting hides hub doubling on the devices.
