The E from STATES presents like a hook but its not cracked its a continuos letter.... heres other pic...

Its seems its cracked.. I really dont know... also noticed the letters "I" and "U" in Pluribus Unum are weird--- be my guest.. nobody cant tell what it is yet ... do the T of STATES and D of UNITED present doubling?

Maybe a die gouge? The reason I say that is if it were damage, the area would be incuse. But it's raised. Do it would be a die issue, not a coin issue.
