I have a New Jersey "P" State Quarter that is missing the date and other information on the reverse bottom of the coin. The coin is circulated, but otherwise in very fine condition. I assume its a mint error, but unsure how interesting it is as a collectable, or what the value would be. Any insight would be welcome.

Can you take the coin out of that flip/case and take a closer picture of the area in question? Thanks.

To CCF! There's no need to take that Quarter out of its coin flip. It has obviously been Struck Through Grease (AKA Grease Filled Die). Yours has quite a bit of devices missing, so it's a keeper and collectable. It has a small premium. Very nice find! http://www.error-ref.com/struck-thr...-grease-oil/

Yes, it's a Struck Through Grease. It has a small premium above face value. Definitely a keeper.
