That is a strong one. Did you notice the columns were also affected as well? I'm not sure of the EPU though. The Stylobites as well.

Very nice Wavy Steps! Nice find! Coop, didn't you say at one point that these "Wavy Steps" are just caused by trapped Gas Bubbles under the Copper plating?

I guess I was thinking that's all the pictures I needed. I'll take some more in the morning as soon as I get off of work and post. Thanks coop.

No, these were most likely caused by trail dies. They are listed on traildies.com

Cool find, I haven't found one of those yet but I'm not really looking for them.
See if you can find it on here: http://www.traildies.com/2004p-1der_001-010/

Very nice find. I found a 2007 a few days ago, and that made me wonder why I don't see more posts about people finding these.I know there is little interest in them, but still.

No, I have a coin that shows steps that has a gas issue under the plating:

On the Wavy steps they can be under the left side of the columns or the right side of the columns.
Left side of columns:

"I know there is little interest in them"

Probably no one is looking because they are not listed as doubled dies on the sites. Trail dies is what the site is call, wavy steps is secondary. I would send these images in to John Wexler, not as wavy steps, but because of the extre columns. He may be interested in this die as a doubled die. The wavy steps is a different issue. ( but it might spark interest in him?
