This coin has been driving me insane. The obverse is highly raised while the reverse is dented in. Helpful information needed

Not an error. For some reason 1985 was an odd year for dimes. Use the search box upper left of page to find out more.

It is common to see examples like your coin. Do a search on the forum and all examples look just like your coin.
