Hello CCF,

Is this PMD or a mint error?

Thanks,

Nope, it's 100 percent Post Strike Damage. It's now a cull coin and has lost all of its numismatic value. Worth Copper melt value.

The biggest clue to me that the coin was altered is the outside edge of the coin. It is out of round on the affected areas.
